Slow
BY Johnny
I got up yesterday morning, had a coffee, scanned some film, went on a walk, talked to a few friends, and then had dinner. That's the definition of a good day for me.
I'm noticing how much I am enjoying the process of shooting and being able to process and scan slowly. I'm looking forward to a few bigger projects I intend to work on over the next years, and I am also realizing that I love being present in my everyday life and really seeing the world.
How weeds at the side of the road look when the sun hits them at a certain angle, the bleak color palette here in Maine after the summer left and nature is getting ready for the first snow, a little tree on the forest floor, or the beauty of leaves when they're past their peak.
There is so much beauty and goodness all around.
